Safety first

Stingrays coaches are USA Rugby certified, and they teach individual skills and team play with player safety at the heart of every session and match. Contact comes in step by step as players get older. U8 plays non-contact flag rugby, where a tackle means pulling a flag from the ball carrier's belt.

Players and coaches are registered with USA Rugby, which carries the club's insurance, and the club follows a concussion protocol.

New to rugby? Most families are

New players are welcome at any point in the year, and nobody is expected to know the rules on day one. Pre-season training runs for all age groups together at Chase Palm Park. From December 8 the club moves to Elings Park, where U8 to U10 and U12 to U14 train at different times, so kids learn alongside players their own size.

Halloween Kick-Off, Friday, October 30
